Offer title and description in the market language
An offer on allegro.cz should be in Czech, and one on eMAG.ro in Romanian. The system uses text in the market language—from marketplace-specific copy or the product translation.
Each marketplace has its own language: allegro.pl uses Polish, eMAG.ro Romanian, and bol Dutch. The offer title and description use the first available text in that language, in this order:
- Text written for this marketplace in the relevant language (wizard → “Offer content per language”),
- a mapping in the wizard (for example, an attribute containing a name),
- the product translation in the catalog,
- the product name and description—only in the language of the offer.
Allegro: allegro.cz, allegro.sk, allegro.hu
The offer is created in Polish. For each market where it is sold, the system then sends a translation of its title and description—if the product has Czech, Slovak, or Hungarian text. If it does not, Allegro translates the offer automatically. Polish text is never sent as a translation.
If Allegro rejects a translation, the offer is still listed, and you will see a warning in the result. A price or stock change does not resend translations. After correcting the text, open “Offer content per language” and click Send translations to active offers.
Enter text for a marketplace
In the listing wizard, after choosing a category, click Offer content per language. Languages appear as chips at the top: the offer language and translation languages (for Allegro, the markets where the offer is sold). Ctrl+click (or the checkbox in the list after the chips) selects several languages. Text entered once for the title and description is then used for each; if the selected languages have different text, the field is empty and shows the hint Different values.
For each product, you can see where its text currently comes from: “Written for this marketplace,” “Product translation,” “Product name,” or “No text — automatic translation.” Text you enter is used only for this marketplace; the product translation in the catalog remains unchanged.
eMAG, bol
The offer is sent in the store's language. eMAG refuses an offer with no name in that language—we will not send the Polish one. The “Product name” and “Description” mappings use text in the store language: from the product translation, or, if it is missing, from the catalog's default language.
