Linking a listing to a product — without it, nothing gets sent
Matching can be automatic by EAN, SKU, or name, or done manually. Each link has a confidence level — and name-based matches should be checked.
A listing linked to a product sends its stock and price. An unlinked listing sends nothing — and that is the most common reason for “this one product is not synchronizing.”
Step by step
Match an entire channel in bulk
- Go to Marketplace listings and click a channel in the Sales platforms group in the side panel. The action is disabled until you select a channel.
- Click Tools → Auto-link unlinked.
- The Auto-link listings dialog opens. Read the yellow warning: the action covers all unlinked listings on this channel and does not apply the list filters.
- Under Match by, choose EAN, SKU, or Both (EAN first, then SKU).
- Optionally narrow it with Filter by catalog.
- Under When multiple products match, choose Link to first, Link to last, or Skip (do not link). For the first run on a new channel, choose Skip (do not link) — review ambiguous matches manually.
- Select Test mode (preview only, no changes) and click Preview. You will see what would be created without saving anything.
- When the result looks right, turn off test mode and click Auto-link.
- A job progress bar appears above the list. Wait until it shows completion.
Manually link one listing
- Find the listing by entering an EAN, SKU, or title in the search field above the table (Search by EAN, SKU, title...).
- Click the icon in its row with the Link tooltip.
- In Link listing to product, check the heading — it shows the channel, listing title, and its EAN and SKU. These should match the product you want.
- In Search product, enter the SKU or name and select a product from the list.
- Click Link.
Find listings that remain unlinked
- Expand the filters and select Unlinked under Link status. Alternatively, click Unlinked in the side panel.
- Review the rows and link them individually using the steps above.
- The counter beside Unlinked in the side panel shows how many remain. It is the count for the whole channel, independent of the table filters.
Remove an incorrect link
- Click the icon with the Unlink tooltip in the listing row.
- For several listings at once, select rows and choose Actions → Unlink.
There is no confirmation dialog — the link disappears immediately.
Five types of link
| Type | Source |
|---|---|
| Automatic by EAN | Most reliable — the product code is unique |
| Automatic by SKU | Reliable if your SKUs are used consistently |
| Automatic by name | Least reliable — needs checking |
| Manual | Selected by a person |
| From import | Uploaded from a file |
Every link has a confidence level and a verified marker, including the person who verified it. Review and approve name matches manually before relying on them — “White cotton T-shirt, M” may match three different product records.
A listing also has a primary link — exactly one.
Bulk matching
The listings screen has an automatic bulk matching action. This is the right way to organize a newly connected channel: first import listings, then run bulk matching, and finally review what remains unlinked.
Why linking matters so much
Most connectors require a linked, active listing to send stock. Without one, the product does not even enter the queue — you will see no error, because nothing happened.
Some channels work differently and send stock by EAN or SKU without a listing mirror. Which ones: Connected marketplaces and what each one cannot do.
Unlinking
You can remove an incorrect link. Do this as soon as you notice it — while it remains, your product’s stock is sent to someone else’s listing.
Checklist: “this listing is not receiving stock”
- Is the listing linked to a product?
- Is the listing active?
- Is there no duplicate ended or blocked listing blocking the queue (Marketplace offer — our local mirror of a listing)?
- Is the product not excluded for this channel (Offer exclusions — stock rules per product and channel)?
- Does the channel have a warehouse mapping and stock synchronization enabled, including any listing imports required for it (Switches that stop an entire channel)?
