Order details — small actions you might miss
Half the work on an order card is a click on text that does not look like a button. Status, payment method, delivery method and notes are edited in place.
The order card looks like a read-only screen. Most visible values can be edited or copied in place, without opening a dialog or form or returning to the list.
Step by step
Change one order’s status
- Click the colored status badge in the card header, or press
T. - The badge becomes a field with the hint Search status.... Enter part of a status name.
- Select a result. It saves immediately; there is no Save button. A green check appears beside the current status so you can see which status you are changing from.
- Confirmation: Status changed. Failure: Could not change status.
- Press
Escto close the list without changing anything. - Without permission to change status, the badge is plain text: there is no dropdown arrow or Change status (T) tooltip, and
Tdoes nothing.
Edit payment or delivery method
- Click the payment-method badge (card or banknote icon) or delivery-method badge (truck icon). A badge you can edit has a small pencil at its side.
- It becomes a field with suggestions. Each suggestion has a count badge showing how many orders already use that value. Suggestions narrow 0.3 seconds after the last keystroke.
- Choose a suggestion or enter your own value and leave the field. It saves automatically.
- Confirmation: Saved. Failure: Could not save.
Esccloses the field.
Edit the shipping address, including country
- On the Shipping address card, click the pencil or press
E. - Edit the fields. The current country, such as Poland PL, appears under postal code and city. Click it to open a field with the country name selected. Enter part of a name or a code (for example
rumuorRO) and choose a suggestion. Diacritics are not required:wlofinds Italy. - Saving starts shortly after a change. Click the check icon to save immediately and exit editing.
- Change the country in the same way on the Billing address card.
Add a note
- The Notes section has four fields: Customer note, Internal note, Additional 1 and Additional 2.
- Click a field or press
Alt+1throughAlt+4; the shortcuts follow the field order. - Type. Saving starts 0.8 seconds after the last character. An empty field shows Type here....
- While saving, Saving... flashes beside Notes. After saving, a
Note saved!toast appears in English because it bypasses translation. - Clicking outside the field saves and closes it.
Escdoes the same; it does not discard changes. To undo an entry, clear its text manually. - If Customer note has text, the On courier label block appears below the fields. For each assigned courier it shows how much of the note fits on the label. The portion that does not fit is struck through and labelled N characters will not be printed. Couriers that do not print notes appear on the Does not print note: … line.
Copy the order number
- Click
#numberat the top of the card, the value beside Store:, or the value beside External:. - Each of these three fields copies its value to the clipboard.
- The confirmation is the
Copied!toast, also in English.
View a field’s change history
- Click Accepted or Cancelled to open the full history for that field.
- Payment- and delivery-method badges show history on hover; clicking them is used for editing.
- Note history is under the small clock icon in the top-right corner of each field. The icon appears when you hover over the field.
Clickable elements that do not look clickable
| Element | Action |
|---|---|
| Status badge | Opens a status selector and saves immediately |
| Payment method badge | Becomes a field with suggestions |
| Delivery method badge | Same |
| Accepted badge | Opens that field’s change history |
| Cancelled badge | Same — history, not a status change |
| External status badge | Refreshes marketplace status if the integration supports it |
| Order number, Store ID, External ID | The adjacent icon copies the value to the clipboard |
Paid, COD and the integration name are labels only; nothing is attached to them.
Notes
There are four separate fields: customer note, internal note and two additional fields. Each has its own write permission, so some may be read-only for you.
In an edited field, select text with the mouse or press Ctrl+A and then Ctrl+C (on Mac, Cmd+A and Cmd+C) to copy the entire note. Autosave does not remove the selection, move the cursor or close the field. Selecting and copying alone does not save anything.
Saving is automatic and delayed. Esc does not discard changes; it triggers the save and closes the field. To undo an entry, clear the text manually.
Keys on the order card
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
← → | Previous and next order |
Esc | Return to list |
R | Reload order |
T | Open status selector |
C | Edit customer details |
E | Edit shipping address |
S | Expand full status history |
Alt+1 … Alt+4 | Focus the corresponding note field |
Letter shortcuts are inactive while the cursor is in a text field and when you lack permission for that section. If you cannot change status, T does nothing because the badge is plain text.
Your company can add custom buttons
Alongside built-in actions, the card can show company-defined workflow triggers. Common ones appear directly; others are in the ⋮ menu. Each may have its own keyboard shortcut, shown on the button, so your instance may have more shortcuts than the table above (Custom events — manually triggered buttons).
Watch the ⋮ menu
Irreversible actions are below the divider in the ⋮ menu. Cancel order cuts off the return path to the warehouse queue; Cancel an order and resume fulfillment explains the details and how to resume it.
