First login — four things to do right away
Your temporary password arrives by email from Noxti and works for 72 hours from sending. Set your own password at first login, then check the active company and enable 2FA if you administer anything.
Where your password comes from
Noxti emails it to you. When an administrator creates your account, the system generates a temporary password and sends it to your address in a message titled Welcome to Noxti — {company}. The email also contains your login and a Log in button. The administrator does not know or enter this password (Adding a user — create an account or add an existing one).
The temporary password is valid for 72 hours after it is sent. If you do not set your own password during that time, it stops working. Ask the administrator for another one; Send new password sends another email. If the message does not arrive, check spam and contact your administrator.
You can sign in with your username or email address; capitalization does not matter.
Step by step
1. Sign in
- On the login screen, fill in Username / email. The placeholder shows both formats,
jan.kowalski or jan@example.com. - Enter your password in Password. The eye icon on the right reveals the characters.
- Click Log in.
- If you have 2FA enabled, the screen asks for a code: Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app (or a backup code). Enter it and click Log in. Use ← Back to login to return.
- Incorrect details leave you on the form with a message under the password field. For a normal password mistake, the server message is in English: Unable to log in with provided credentials.
Remember this device only skips the 2FA code on future logins; you still enter your password (Sessions and devices — who is logged into your account).
Forgot your password? opens Forgot Password? 🔒, with a Send Reset Link button, but this form does not send anything. There is no self-service password recovery. Ask an administrator for a new password; it will arrive by email too.
2. Set your own password
- After your first login with the emailed password, the system takes you straight to the Security tab and Change password form. Above it, the Set your own password panel says: You logged in with a temporary password from email. Set your own password to continue. The rest of the system stays locked until you do.
- Enter the temporary email password in Current password (the hint says Temporary password from email.), then enter New password and Repeat new password.
- The form checks the new password as you type and lists what is missing: At least 8 characters., At least one lowercase letter., At least one uppercase letter., At least one digit. It also checks New password must be different from the current one. and, if the repeated value does not match, Passwords do not match.
- Click Change password below the form; it has the same label as the section heading.
- If 2FA is already enabled, the 2FA verification required dialog appears. Enter the Verification code and click Confirm.
- Password changed successfully. confirms completion. The fields are cleared and the Set your own password panel disappears.
Later, change your password from the avatar in the top-right corner → account settings → Security (Changing your own password — requirements and when confirmation is needed).
3. Check which company is active
- Open the My companies tab. Above the table it says: List of companies you can access. The active company sets the context for the entire application.
- Find your company. Narrow the list with Search companies… if needed.
- Click Set as active in its row. The active company has an Active badge instead of the button.
- Confirmation: Active company: {name}.
- You do not belong to any company yet. means the account exists but nobody has assigned it. You cannot fix this yourself (My companies — active company and switching context).
4. Enable 2FA
- Return to Security and click Enable 2FA in Two-factor authentication (2FA).
- The Set up two-factor authentication dialog opens. Step one asks you to confirm your password: To start setting up 2FA, confirm your current password. Enter it in Current password and click Next.
- Step two shows a QR code: 1. Open an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) and scan the QR code below. If scanning does not work, a secret is shown below the image for manual entry.
- Enter the app code in Verification code and click Confirm and enable.
- Step three shows backup codes and the warning Save these backup codes. They are shown only now. Each code can be used once if you lose access to your authenticator app. Click Copy all to clipboard and store them outside the system.
- Close the dialog with Done. The section now shows Active and a Backup codes: count.
When fewer than three codes remain, the section warns: You are running low on backup codes. Generate a new batch if you lose access to your app. Use Generate new codes to replace them (Two-factor authentication (2FA) — enabling it, backup codes, and disabling it).
5. Set your preferences
- Open the Preferences tab.
- Under Appearance and location, set Theme, Timezone and Date format, then click Save preferences. Confirmation: Preferences saved.
- Below, under Scanner preferences (mobile), set Scan sounds, Scan vibration and Text-to-speech (TTS), then click Save for active company. Confirmation: Scanner preferences saved.
- Select an active company to save scanner preferences. means you need to return to step 3; these settings need an active company.
The interface language is elsewhere: Profile tab → Interface language field → Save changes (Profile — details, photo, and interface language).
1. Set your own password
Do this first; the system will require it anyway. The password from the email is temporary and has passed through your mailbox.
Account settings → Security → Change password. Requirements: at least 8 characters, a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter and a digit (Changing your own password — requirements and when confirmation is needed).
2. Check which company is active
If everything is blank after login, the usual cause is the wrong company, not missing permissions.
The active company sets the context for the whole application: orders, products, stock and reports. Change it in account settings under My companies (My companies — active company and switching context).
If a message says you do not belong to any company, the account exists but has not been assigned. You cannot fix that yourself.
3. Enable 2FA if you administer anything
Many operations — roles, users, company data, integration keys and schedules — require confirmation with a 2FA code regardless of permissions. You cannot perform them without 2FA enabled.
When enabling 2FA, save the backup codes. They are shown once and are the only way back if you lose your phone. Nobody, including an administrator, can reset your 2FA (Two-factor authentication (2FA) — enabling it, backup codes, and disabling it).
4. Set preferences that affect daily work
- Theme, timezone and date format apply to the whole account.
- Scanner settings (sound, vibration and speech) are set separately for each company (Preferences — appearance, time zone, and scanner settings).
- Notifications help keep your inbox from filling up (Notifications — the bell, email, and “Do not disturb” mode).
Something you expect is missing
The three most common causes, in order: wrong company, missing role, or a mismatch between the menu and the data — the screen opens, but the table is empty with no message (A menu item is missing).
Permission changes can take up to five minutes to take effect. Refresh the page before reporting a problem.
