Profile — details, photo, and interface language
Six fields and an avatar. Photos have a hard 2 MB limit and four permitted formats; the actual file is checked, not just its extension.
The Profile tab stores your contact details and the language in which you see the system.
Step by step
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select My profile (or Settings — both lead to the same place).
- Stay on the Profile tab. The card is called Profile details.
- Edit First name, Surname, Email address, Login (username), and Phone.
- To change the language, select it in Interface language.
- Click Save changes. You will see Profile saved. Cancel restores the values from before editing.
- Set your photo separately: click Upload photo and choose a JPG, PNG, GIF, or WEBP file up to 2 MB. Avatar updated. confirms the change.
- To remove the photo, click Delete beside it. Avatar deleted. confirms.
Fields
First name, Surname, Email address, Login (username), Phone, and Interface language.
Save changes with Save changes; Cancel restores the previous values.
The language switches immediately after saving — you do not need to log out. It is an account-wide setting, so it applies in every company you can access.
Photo
Permitted formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. Maximum size: 2 MB.
The system checks a file in four ways, each with its own refusal message:
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Unsupported file type | A format outside the four above — for example, HEIC from an iPhone or PDF |
| File too large | Over 2 MB; the message says its actual size |
| The selected file is empty | The file is zero bytes — usually an unsuccessful download |
| The file is not a valid image | The extension says “image,” but the contents are not an image |
The last one matters: changing the extension is not enough. An iPhone photo renamed from .heic to .jpg will be rejected because the system checks the file contents, not the name. Convert it properly.
Upload with Upload photo and remove with Delete. Below them is the reminder Allowed formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. Maximum 2 MB.
If a warning appears after uploading and the avatar does not change, refresh the page first. The photo may have been saved successfully despite a problem refreshing the view. If it keeps happening, report it to NOXTI support.
