Preferences — appearance, time zone, and scanner settings
Two separate sections with two separate save buttons. The top one is global to the account; the bottom one is saved per company, and those settings take effect when you switch companies.
The Preferences tab has two sections and two separate save buttons. Saving one does not save the other — this is the most common reason for “I set it, but it isn’t working.”
Step by step
- Click your avatar in the top-right corner, select My profile, and then open the Preferences tab.
- In Appearance and location, set Theme (Light, Dark, System), Time zone, and Date format.
- Click Save preferences. Preferences saved. confirms the change.
- Scroll to Scanner preferences (mobile) and set the toggles: Scan sounds, Scan vibration, Text-to-speech (TTS), Compact mode (more info on screen), Require confirmation for negative stock.
- Click the separate Save for active company button. Scanner preferences saved. confirms.
- If you see Select an active company to save scanner preferences., first set an active company (My companies — active company and switching context) and return to step 4.
- Repeat steps 4–5 after switching companies — the lower section belongs to the company, not the account.
Appearance and location — global
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Theme | Light, Dark, System |
| Time zone | Europe/Warsaw (UTC+1/+2), Europe/Berlin (UTC+1/+2), Europe/London (UTC+0/+1), UTC |
| Date format | 31.12.2026, 2026-12-31, 31/12/2026, 12/31/2026 |
Save with Save preferences. These three settings are shared by the whole account and apply in every company.
The time zone determines which time you see for an event (order, warehouse movement, login) — your time, not the time on the computer you happen to be using. Dates without a time, such as a deadline, do not shift between time zones. Changes take effect immediately after saving; you do not need to log in again.
Screens are moving to these settings gradually. Some still show dates in Polish format and times based on the computer clock.
The System theme follows your operating system setting, so it switches automatically in the evening if your computer is configured that way.
Scanner preferences (mobile) — separate for each company
These apply when working on a mobile terminal.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Scan sounds | Signal after each scan |
| Scan vibration | Haptic response — useful in noisy conditions |
| Text-to-speech (TTS) | The terminal reads messages aloud. Disabled by default in stocktaking mode |
| Compact mode (more info on screen) | Shows more information on the screen at the cost of smaller text |
| Require confirmation for negative stock | Extra prompt if an operation would reduce stock below zero |
Save with the separate Save for active company button.
These settings belong to the company, not to the account. After switching companies, that company’s settings take effect — sounds enabled in one company do not carry over to another (My companies — active company and switching context).
If you see “Select an active company to save scanner preferences.”, no active company is set, so there is nowhere to assign these settings.
What to set for different users
- Warehouse, noisy environment, gloves → vibration on, sounds on, compact mode off.
- Headphones or quiet work → TTS instead of sounds.
- Experienced operator on a large screen → compact mode to reduce scrolling.
- Warehouse with a risk of stock errors → turn on Require confirmation for negative stock.
