Get your company ready — the setup checklist on the dashboard
A new company sees a six-stage checklist on the dashboard. It shows what is ready, what is missing, and where to start. Each step links directly to the relevant settings.
Where to find it
At the top of the order dashboard and warehouse dashboard, under Get your company ready. Only a company administrator can see it. It disappears automatically when all stages are complete.
Below the title is a summary, for example Stages ready: 5 of 6 · 3 steps left, and a bar showing how much is complete.
The six stages

| Stage 6 — Set up documents | Document types and numbering |
The order is a recommendation, not a restriction. A stage whose predecessor is incomplete has a lock and says It’s best to finish stage N first, but its buttons still work.
How to use it
- Click a stage to expand its steps. The stage that is useful to work on now opens automatically.
- Start with the item marked Next step.
- Click Go to beside a step to open the settings tab where you can complete it.
- Return to the dashboard. Completed steps are struck through and marked green.
For Complete company details, the checklist tells you what is missing, such as Missing: tax ID, registered address. These three fields — legal name, tax ID, and registered address — are required on every invoice.
Why stage 1 is incomplete even though the company is operating
The checklist checks whether details are entered in the system, not whether the company exists. Orders may be coming in while the tax ID in Settings → Company details or a bank account is missing. In that case invoices will omit those details. Fill them in and the step will be checked off automatically.
Hiding the checklist
The X in the upper-right hides the checklist. The browser remembers this, so it will appear again on another computer until all stages are complete.
