Glossary — what our terms mean
A dozen or so terms have a narrower meaning in this system than in everyday language. Read them once so you do not have to guess later.
Sales and catalog
Product — a record in your catalog. One record, regardless of where you sell it.
Offer — a listing mirror on one marketplace. One product can have many offers. An offer not linked to a product sends neither stock nor price (Marketplace offer — our local mirror of a listing).
Integration — a connector type (“Allegro”, “DHL”). Connection — your specific account with that provider. These are different terms and are often confused (Sales channel — integration, connection, and setting).
Catalog — a set of products prepared for a sales channel, with its own languages and price groups.
Price group — a set of prices; priority rules determine which one takes precedence.
Company and access
Active company — the company context you are currently working in. It determines everything you see (My companies — active company and switching context).
Role — a set of permissions belonging to a company. Permissions from multiple roles are added together; there are no denials (Role — what it is and how permissions are calculated).
Module — an area of the system for which a permission is granted. Field permission — a more specific layer for a particular field or individual action (Field permissions — individual fields and individual actions).
2FA — the second factor for signing in. A 2FA confirmation for a sensitive operation is different from the code used to sign in (2FA confirmation when changing permissions).
Warehouse
WMS queue — a set of orders handed over for processing as one batch of work (What a queue is and what it contains).
Picking — collecting goods from locations. Sorting — separating collected goods into individual orders. Packing — closing a parcel and creating its label.
Cart / mobile location — a movable location that carries goods through the warehouse.
Warehouse movement — any stock change; it is always recorded, never made “silently”.
Replenishment — moving goods from reserve stock to a picking location.
Pick face — the location used for day-to-day picking, with minimum and maximum thresholds.
Shipments
Shipment — the complete delivery to a customer. Parcel — one package within it. One shipment can contain many parcels.
Tracking number — the number assigned by the carrier.
Status stage — one of nine internal steps in a parcel’s journey. The “Last status” column shows the highest stage reached, not the newest one (Shipment statuses — nine stages and why you see four).
Shipping document — despite the name, this is not a waybill; it is a file attached to an order, usually a label or invoice (Document tracking — files attached to orders).
Automation
Workflow — a rule that does something automatically after an event.
Issue — a recorded problem that needs a person to decide what to do.
Synchronization — not one thing, but five independent pipelines (What syncs and in which direction).
