Move goods — pick them up and put them away
The Goods flow takes selected units; All goods moves everything on the shelf. There are ten refusals, each with a specific cause.
Goods flow — selected units
- Scan the source location and choose Goods.
- The terminal says Scan EAN. Each scan adds one unit to your load; scanning the same EAN again adds another.
- For larger quantities, a quantity calculator opens. Below the threshold, scan units one by one; the terminal says Calculator from N units — scan one by one.
- When you have everything, choose Put picked items away and scan the destination location. Confirmation: Put away at code.
The destination can be a shelf or a pallet (for example, PAL0475). Goods can go to a pallet or basket only if it contains nothing from orders in progress.
All goods flow — one action
- Scan the source location and choose All goods.
- The terminal asks: Scan the destination location — all contents will be moved there.
- Confirmation: Moved - destination code.
What stays on screen
Carrying (number of units) · SKUs (number of different items) · From location (where you took them).
If the warehouse uses Full batch mode, a Batch P-… chip appears below the product name — one for each batch you carry or that is on the source shelf.
Refusals and what they mean
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Goods are reserved by an active queue and cannot be moved in this mode | When picking up: goods on this shelf are waiting for picking; taking them would remove them from an order. When putting away: the unit in your load belongs to an active queue operation. Someone else packing or sorting the same EAN at another station does not block put-away. |
| Not enough goods at the source location / You are not carrying that many units | The counts do not match; count again. |
| Scan a fixed location first, not a basket | A mobile container cannot be the source. |
| This location contains goods from orders in progress. Choose another location. | The pallet or basket is in use by a queue: it contains goods from an order someone is picking, sorting, or packing. Your goods would mix with them. Nothing was moved. Scan another pallet or shelf. |
| Invalid destination location. | You cannot use another worker’s cart as the destination. In All goods, a pallet cannot be the destination if the source shelf contains baskets; a basket cannot go onto a pallet. |
| Location is locked by an active stocktake | Wait until counting is finished (Counting freezes a shelf). |
| You are carrying goods from another operation (replenishment / picking) | Put that load away first (Eleven terminal functions and how to switch between them). |
| This EAN matches several products | Tell the coordinator; this is a catalogue issue, not your fault. |
| Different batch at this location — put it on another shelf. | The destination shelf has another batch of this product, and the warehouse does not allow batches to mix. Nothing was moved. The small line under the message shows the batch on the shelf and the batch you are moving. Scan another shelf — or, when batch tiles appear, tap the batch you are putting away. |
| Which batch are you putting away? | You are carrying two batches of this product, and the shelf can accept only some of them. Tap a batch tile (or scan its code); the terminal will put away only that batch. |
