Packages mode — sort for dispatch and record warehouse exit

The Packages mode works with parcels that are already packed. It has two operations.

Sort for dispatch — scan a waybill; the terminal identifies the carrier and shows where the parcel should go. It identifies the carrier from its database or a tracking-number pattern and tells you which method worked.

Exit — scan parcels leaving the warehouse. The terminal confirms Shipped from warehouse and marks the parcel as shipped. A parcel that has already left shows Already shipped with the time.

Messages to know

• Already scanned — this parcel has already been scanned in this session.
• Return — do not scan. Send it to returns handling; it is not an outgoing parcel.
• Unrecognized — the number does not match any carrier.
• Parcel not found.

Master carton

• Scan the master carton to open it and see how many parcels are inside.
• Further scans add parcels to the master carton (Added to master carton).
• If a parcel is already in another master carton, the terminal asks Move parcel? and shows from/to details.
• You can print a Master carton label (A4) or generate a Carrier label. The terminal warns if there are Products without weight.
• If a customer QR-code carton asks the packer to provide the weight or dimensions, choosing Carrier label opens a calculator: Weigh parcel (kg, up to 2 decimal places) and, for parcel lockers, Parcel size. The label is created only after Print label. Cancel does not order anything (master carton).
• A carton with an existing waybill cannot get another one. Carrier label shows a yellow warning: Carton already has carrier label {number}. No second label was ordered.

Create the master carton itself in the separate mode (master carton).

The bottom of the screen shows session counters: Scans, OK, and Errors.
