Transport baskets to packing

The Baskets flow is the stage between sorting and packing: completed baskets move from sorting to a packing station.

Flow

1. The terminal shows how many baskets are ready (for example, 3 ready) and asks Scan a ready basket to take it.
2. You can take several baskets at once; the screen shows Carrying baskets.
3. At the packing station, choose Release at packing station. Baskets are released immediately; there is no confirmation screen. The terminal briefly says Released N and displays the full message Released N basket(s) → station code.
4. After a few seconds the message disappears and the terminal stays in Baskets. Take the next baskets without returning to the start screen.

Scanning releases a basket immediately

While at a packing station, simply scan the basket code. It is released immediately, one at a time; you do not have to take it first.

This handles a case that previously had no way forward: a basket no one is carrying. It can happen when packing closes the last order from a basket and sorting adds more goods to it afterward. The basket has goods but belongs to no one. The transport screen showed zero baskets carried, and Release at packing station was hidden. The only workaround was to scan the basket in transport mode, take it, and then release it.

Scanning does not take a basket carried by someone else. That basket uses the regular handover flow.

Special cases

• Split order — the terminal warns Order is also on: (list of codes) and reads it aloud. Some of the order is on another shelf or in another basket; without that basket the order will still be incomplete at the station.
• Goods on a shelf — if items are on a shelf rather than in a basket, the terminal asks Scan a basket for these products and tells you how many units to move.
• Picking up incomplete orders is blocked deliberately, so orders that cannot be finished do not arrive at the station.
• Basket is empty / Basket not recognized — check the code.
• Source location lost — scan the shelf again.
