Move mode — four workflows in one place
Scan a location and the terminal asks what you are doing. Each of the four paths has its own permission, and none starts with an EAN scan.
The Move mode handles operations for transporting and moving goods. Scan a location; the terminal asks Location — what are you doing? and shows four tiles.
| Tile | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Goods | Take selected units from this location so you can put them elsewhere (Move goods — pick them up and put them away) |
| All goods (or Entire pallet) | Move everything at the location in one action (Move goods — pick them up and put them away) |
| Baskets | Move completed baskets from sorting to packing (Transport baskets to packing) |
| Lost products | Collect goods that no longer belong to any queue (Lost products — collect them at the bulk location) |
A tile is missing
Each flow requires its own permission. A missing tile is not an outage; you do not have permission. Refusals are explicit:
- No permission to move goods
- No permission to move an entire location
- No permission to transport baskets
Until the server replies, detailed permissions are disabled, not enabled. The terminal would rather deny access than allow too much (Eleven terminal functions and how to switch between them).
Start with a location, not a product
An EAN scanned at the start is rejected: Product scan (EAN) is not allowed in move mode. Scan a location or basket.
This is the only warehouse mode where a product is not the starting point. The terminal first needs to know where you are taking goods from.
