Multiple packers — one large B2B order at a time
Several workers pack one order into labeled cartons, then a single “Order carrier” action ships every carton.
When this mode works
The mode is enabled on the queue, not on the order. In settings (Settings → WMS → Queue creation), the scenario has a Multiple packers (B2B) switch. Queues created by that scenario use this mode; changing the scenario later does not switch existing queues. Queue details show the Multiple packers marker. All other queues pack as before.
To switch an existing queue, open its details: Settings tab → Queue settings card → Multiple packers (B2B) switch. After you click it, the system asks for confirmation and saves immediately (there is no Save button). From then on, scanning a basket with an order from that queue starts the selected mode. You need warehouse edit permission (WMS write).
The switch refuses and shows order numbers if an order is halfway through:
- Enabling—someone has already started packing the order in the regular mode (scanned at least one product). Finish or abandon that packing session, then try again.
- Disabling—the order already has
BX-…cartons (several people are packing it or it is waiting for a label scan). Finish packing it first.
Fully packed orders do not block the switch.
Start
Scan the basket with goods for this order. Instead of a product list, you see the order screen: how many units remain, which basket the goods come from, how many people are packing, and the carton list. Each next worker joins the same order by scanning its basket. A B2B-mode order does not prevent you from using other baskets; return to it by scanning its basket or tapping the B2B #… tile on the station screen.
Carton
- Press New carton. The station printer prints an A6 label with code
BX-<order>-<number>, the text “ORD. … / CARTON n,” and the worker number that opened the carton (“Worker: <ID>”). Stick it on the carton. Without a station printer, the carton is not created. - Scan products—they go into your active carton (shown at the top as “Carton n”).
- To pack into another carton, scan its
BX-…code. - Cartons do not need to be closed; they can remain open until the end.
Packing many units of one product? When the basket you are picking from has at least as many units left as the calculator threshold (at least 2), a scan opens the quantity calculator, the same one used in regular packing. The scanned unit is already in the carton; enter how many units you are packing with it and confirm. Cancel counts only that one unit, and another scan before you answer first counts it too. The calculator will not let you enter more than the basket contains.
If you scan a product without an active carton, the system responds Scan a carton or create a new one and moves nothing. Pressing New carton again while a carton is empty does not create another one; it reprints the same carton's label.
“Waiting to be picked”
At the bottom of the screen, you see units that are not yet in any basket. The order cannot be shipped while this list is not empty—you need to wait for picking.
Finish: “Order carrier”
When everything is packed, any packer can press Order carrier. One shipment covers all cartons with contents (empty cartons are skipped). Carrier labels print for every carton in number order. Print all prints them again, and scanning a carton’s BX-… code after booking prints that carton's label. For carriers with one shared label (for example DHL or InPost), it is the same multi-page file—take the page for your carton.
If the carrier refuses or does not respond, cartons remain open and you can keep scanning.
If the carrier accepted the request but a carton did not receive a label, the screen shows a red warning: “Carton n has no carrier label—call the office.” That carton is closed (nothing more can be added), and the kiosk does not order the carrier a second time; that might create a duplicate shipment and a second COD charge. In the order's shipments section, the office adds a label to that parcel alone (the Add <carrier> button on the parcel card). Then press Check labels—the order continues without asking the carrier again.
What happens next depends on the warehouse setting: if label scanning is required, scan the label for any carton; if not, the order closes automatically after booking.
With label scanning enabled, the person who pressed “Order carrier” stays on the “Scan label” screen until the order is closed. Another basket is rejected, and the kiosk returns to this order. If the scanner cannot read the label, enter the tracking number in “Tracking number” and press “Confirm.” This does not affect the other packers. When the order is cancelled, the lock is removed.
Leaving the warehouse
At dispatch (Parcels → Dispatch), you can scan the BX-… carton label instead of the carrier label. The system finds that carton's parcel and marks it as dispatched, even if the carrier has already been ordered. Carrier labels still work as before.
Suspend and Missing goods—but no “Abandon”
These actions apply to the whole order. Suspend and Missing goods keep the cartons and their contents. There is no Abandon in shared packing: the kiosk does not show that tile, and the system refuses abandonment. Several workers’ cartons belong to one order, and one person cannot undo everyone’s work. If you need to stop, use Suspend or Missing goods.
An order from two warehouses
An order is split into two queues only when it spans two different warehouses. Each warehouse packs its own units: in the warehouse with a B2B queue, cartons and Order carrier cover only that warehouse's units (units from the other warehouse do not block shipping). At the other warehouse, scanning the basket opens regular packing.
