Quick packing without a label
A manager closes a picked order from the queue with one button. Stock is deducted; no label is created.
When to use it: the goods have been picked, but left without packing at a station—for example, a wholesale order delivered directly to a customer.
- Open the queue and the Orders tab.
- Beside the order, click the red parcel icon Quick pack (no label).
- Read the warning: how many units will be deducted from stock and from which cart or basket.
- Enter the order number and click Pack without label.
What happens: the order receives the warehouse status Packed; goods are deducted from the cart or basket (never from the location where you are standing); the cart is freed; and the workflow receives the packed event. No label, shipment, or parcel is created. This cannot be undone.
The button is disabled when you lack permission (an admin grants it under Roles and permissions), not everything has been picked (a picking line is open or goods are not in a basket), packing has already started at a station, the order is already packed or cancelled, it has open lines in another queue, or the list did not provide a preview (Unavailable). Hover over the button; the tooltip tells you why.
If, after clicking, a message says that label cancellation is pending, check the order label first.
