Global search
One field at the top finds pages, products, and orders — and shows exactly what it searches.
Open global search from the top-bar field or with ⌘K (on a keyboard with Ctrl, use Ctrl+K). It works from any screen and searches three places at once.
Step by step
Find a specific order, product, or screen
- Press
Ctrl+K(or⌘K) — the top bar shows the Search hint and⌘Ksymbol. You can also click the magnifying-glass icon. - The field is active immediately. Start typing. For fewer than two characters, search does not query the server — until then, you see only the initial suggestions.
- Results are grouped. The group headings Pages, Products, and Orders come from the server; Settings and Actions are added locally.
- Use the
↓and↑arrows to move through results; click one to open it. Esccloses the dialog and clears your query. The [esc] hint and the cross on the right of the field do the same.
When there are no results
- If nothing matches, you will see “No results for” followed by your query, and Try searching below it with three links: Orders, Products, Customers.
- Before deciding a record is missing, check the active company in the top bar. Results are limited to that company (My companies — active company and switching context).
- Looking for a screen rather than a record? Search knows a short, fixed list of pages, not the entire menu — most reports are not included. You are more likely to find a screen in the side menu (Menu map).
Suggestions before you type
Before you enter anything, the dialog shows five shortcut groups:
| Group | Items |
|---|---|
| Popular | Orders, Products, WMS, Customers |
| Warehouse | Scanning, Locations, Queue, Stock movements |
| Catalog | Catalogs, Prices, Categories, Attributes |
| System | Integrations, Automation, Users, Settings |
| Settings | the first four settings tabs, in Section > Tab format |
The New order and WMS scan shortcuts are not shown here — they appear only as search results in the Actions group.
Pages
Entries from the page list that match your query — the quickest route to a screen whose name you do not remember exactly.
Products
Search by name, EAN, and SKU. If you enter only a number, it also searches by product ID — so pasting an identifier from another system will usually find the product straight away. A result shows the name together with its EAN and ID, so similar names are easy to tell apart.
Orders
Search by ID, the order number from the store, external identifier, and the customer’s first and last name. As with products, a number alone also triggers an ID search.
First and last names work in two ways. A fragment (for example, “Smith”) finds orders from the last 90 days. For older orders, search by the full first name or full surname. This search does not check phone, email, or postal code — use the filters on the orders list for those. The same hint is available under the ⓘ icon in the search field.
Five results per category
Each category returns at most five items. This is deliberate — search is meant to take you to a specific thing, not replace a list. To find a set (“all products without a category,” “orders from this week”), use filters on the relevant list: they provide the full results, pagination, and export.
You see only your company’s data
Results are limited to the active company in your session. If an expected order is missing, check the company switcher first — the record may belong to another company.
Search also respects field permissions: if you are not allowed to see a customer’s surname, the result shows it masked instead of in full.
