Flows — the lowest layer of inventory state
Each row records one quantity change at a location. There is nothing below this layer, so entries are reversed, not deleted.
This is the inventory movement register. Each row represents one quantity change at a location: quantity (positive or negative), product, location, reason, date, and the person who caused it.
This is the lowest layer to inspect when stock does not match; there is nothing below it.
Filters
Filter by product, location code, reason, or user. There is also a switch for automatic refresh every 10 seconds, useful when watching the warehouse live.
Why use this screen
- A product’s stock at a location differs from what you expect, and you need to find when it went out of sync.
- You need to check who removed goods from a particular shelf, and when.
- You are verifying the result of a stocktake or transfer.
Incorrect movement — “Reverse”, not “Delete”
Entries cannot be deleted. Reverse an incorrect movement with Reverse movement (the arrow in its row) or Reverse selected. The system adds a new, opposite movement: the same location and batch, the same quantity with the opposite sign, reason REVERSAL, and note “Reversal of movement #…”. The shelf stock returns to its level before the incorrect movement, and both entries remain in history, showing what happened and who corrected it.
- A movement can be reversed only once. A second attempt skips it with the message “already reversed”.
- Reversal requires the Warehouse > Delete stock movements permission (
flow_delete) in Roles. A company administrator always has it. - Reversal does not check whether the goods are still on the shelf; like an adjustment, it records the actual state. If the goods have already left, the stock may become negative. In that case, perform a stocktake at the location.
Access requires the Warehouse & Returns and Advanced modules.
