Consolidating wholesale orders
Combining multiple orders into one consolidated shipment—when to use it and what it creates.
Consolidation combines several wholesale orders into one consolidated shipment—to one address, using one carrier. Use it when several orders are going to the same recipient and there is no reason to ship them separately.
How it works
- Select the orders that should ship together from the list.
- Click Consolidate. The button shows the number of selected items.
- A consolidation preview opens, listing customers, orders, and all items with quantities and net and gross totals.
- Choose the delivery address (the address for the consolidated order) and a carrier.
- Optionally add a note.
- Click Confirm consolidation.
What you cannot skip
- A delivery address must be selected.
- A carrier is required.
If something is missing, the window displays validation errors and will not let you confirm.
What gets created
A consolidated order is created, and the system starts generating a label for it.
