Replenishment on the terminal — how work flows
Session → route → collect onto a cart → put away on shelves. Every unit is counted separately, so the screen always matches the cart.
session → route → scan source shelf → scan product → … → put away to shelves → scan destination shelf1. Choose a session
The terminal asks: “Scan a session or a task from the list”. Sessions are grouped into In progress and To collect. If you have none, it says “No sessions for you”. Loose tasks assigned to you outside a session appear under Tasks.
2. Route
Start route (N) takes a batch of tasks for one trip. There is no separate confirmation; you know it worked when the subtitle says Route · picking and the banner says “Scan a task or source shelf”. The company sets tasks per route (5 by default). Route picking must be enabled; it is off by default, so tasks are issued one at a time.
3. Collecting
- Scan the source shelf (or the task). The terminal shows “Pick N units”.
- Scan the product. It confirms “Product matched”, then “Picked N units”.
- The terminal guides you onward: “Next shelf: CODE”, and, if enabled by the company, “On cart: N units”.
Below the quantity threshold (20 units by default), each scan counts as one unit. At or above it, a keypad appears for entering the quantity.
If enabled by the company, you can also:
- Take more — pick more than planned.
- Finish with N — complete the task with the quantity actually moved.
4. Putting goods away
Put away to shelves (N) → “Put-away mode” → “Scan destination shelf” → “Shelf CODE” → “Put away N units” → “Put away N units”. When the cart is empty: “Cart empty”.
The shelf suggestion follows company policy:
- Suggested shelf — you may scan another — suggestion, not a requirement.
- Scan any shelf — you choose.
- With neither message, the destination is locked and must match.
An “other shelf” must be in the task’s zone. Goods for an order can only be put away in the picking zone (PICKING), or the picker still will not find them on the route. One rack can have levels in both zones, so its code does not tell you which zone you are in. The refusal names them explicitly: “R10-27-02 is in the RESERVE zone. Put it away in the PICKING zone.” Scan a shelf on the same rack one level up or down in the picking zone.
5. “Put the rest on another shelf?”
This appears when some goods are already on the destination shelf and you want to put the rest elsewhere: “Product has destination CODE. Put the rest on SHELF.” Put the rest on SHELF moves the remaining quantity to the scanned shelf.
The first unit put away pins the task line to that shelf; from then on, you cannot redirect it. You can still split the remainder. Scan any shelf in the task’s zone and the terminal says “Scan the product you are leaving here”. After you scan the product, a split prompt appears with Put the rest on SHELF.
The keypad asks “How many to leave on SHELF?” and suggests all the remaining units. Enter fewer, then put the rest on another shelf the same way. You can distribute goods across three or more shelves.
Previously, this worked only if the scanned shelf was a destination for another item on the cart. Any other shelf showed “Nothing on the cart matches this shelf” and blocked put-away.
6. I’ll take it myself
Pick outside the task list when you see a need on the spot: scan the source shelf, scan the product, enter a quantity — “Took N units”. Scan the destination shelf when putting it away. There is a Undo last button.
This requires permission; without it, the button is not shown.
Finish
“This route is done — pick up the next one”, and after all routes: “All routes are done.”
Shortages at a shelf: No stock on the shelf during replenishment. Put-away refusals: Why the system rejects this destination shelf.
