Single-line and multi-line orders
The classification is calculated once, when the queue is synchronized — and carries through the entire process.
Every order in a queue is classified as single-line or multi-line.
| Order contents | Type |
|---|---|
| One product, one unit, not a bundle | Single |
| Everything else — at least two units, at least two lines, or any bundle | Multi |
That explains the common surprise: an order with one product in two units is multi-line. The same applies to an order containing a single bundle — it is split into components, so it is not one unit.
Step by step
Check a specific order’s type in a queue
- Open a WMS queue and go to its details.
- Stay on the Products tab — tab names (Products, Orders, Workers, Settings) are in English and remain so in the Polish interface.
- Find the row using the number in Order ID.
- Read the Type column. It shows a green Single or blue Multi badge — capitalized in English, although the database stores
SINGLE/MULTI. - If an additional orange Bundle badge appears below it, the item is a bundle. A bundle automatically makes the order Multi, even if there is just one bundle.
Filter all orders of one type
- Open the Orders by stage report — Dashboard → Reports → Warehouse menu.
- Find the Type dropdown in the filter bar.
- Select SINGLE or MULTI. It is set to All by default, showing both.
- In the table, each order’s type appears as a SINGLE or MULTI badge — here it is uppercase, unlike the queue list.
The interface does not use the Polish words for single-line and multi-line — screens show only Single / Multi or SINGLE / MULTI.
Determined once
The type is calculated when the queue is synchronized and stored. It is not recalculated continuously — changing the order contents after it enters a queue does not reclassify it automatically.
Why it matters
The classification carries through the process: among other things, it determines whether orders can travel together in one container and what the packing screen looks like. Single-line orders go into baskets; multi-line orders go onto sorting shelves.
