Order warehouse statuses
Nine statuses, appended as a history — never overwritten.
A warehouse status is separate from the sales order status. It describes where an order is in the warehouse process.
| Status | When it is set |
|---|---|
| READY TO FULFIL | The order entered a queue |
| IN PROGRESS | Picking has started |
| SORTING | Goods are at sorting |
| PACKING | Goods are at a packing station |
| PACKED | The order is packed and the shipping label confirmed |
| TO CHECK | Requires intervention |
| DELIVERED | Delivered to the customer |
| RETURN | Return |
| PARTIALLY FULFILLED | Partially fulfilled, for example because an item was unavailable |
Step by step
Check one order’s warehouse status
- Open an order from the Orders list.
- Find the WMS fulfilment card in the right column. If it is not visible, you do not have permission for the WMS module — the card is not rendered at all.
- Read the Status: row — beside it is a colored badge with the status name in uppercase, exactly as in the table above.
- Above it, the Queue: row shows the queue name. It is a link; click it to go straight to that queue’s details.
- Below are three progress bars labelled Pick, Sort, and Pack. These labels are in English and remain so in the Polish interface.
- Not in WMS in place of all of this means the order has not entered any queue.
- Refresh the data with the small arrow in the upper-right corner of the card header.
Find all orders with a given status
- Open the Orders list and open the filter bar.
- Find the dropdown labelled WMS. You can select several values at once.
- Note: the filter uses different labels from the order card — these are written normally, not in uppercase: Not in WMS, Ready to fulfil, In progress, Sorting, Packing, Packed, To check, Delivered, Return. They refer to the same statuses with different labels.
- To confirm that the filter is applied, look for a WMS: … chip above the list with the selected names (or their count if there are more than two).
- In the list itself, the warehouse status is an icon in an unnamed column at the start of the row, not a separate column. Hover to see a tooltip such as WMS: READY TO FULFIL, in uppercase.
What you cannot find
You cannot view the sequence of statuses with timestamps anywhere. The WMS fulfilment card shows only the latest status. The order’s History card looks similar, but shows different information — warehouse movement events in English: Picking start, Picking done, Sorting start, Sorting done, Packing start, Packing done. The warehouse status history is stored in the database, but no screen displays it; it is data for a report, not a viewer.
It is a history, not one field
Statuses are appended, not overwritten. An order does not have a single “warehouse status,” but a sequence of states with timestamps — you can see when it reached sorting and packing, and how long it spent between them. This is the basis for reports on stage times.
PACKED is stamped by label confirmation, not by a scan
Only shipping label confirmation sets the PACKED status, in the same transaction that completes packing items. This is deliberate: otherwise you could end up with a state of “packed, but without a status,” or the reverse.
Practical consequence: an order that has been scanned and packed, but has no confirmed label, is not PACKED — correctly, because there is nothing to ship it with.
