Can the assistant change data? Plans and approvals

Almost all functions are read-only

Of the assistant's more than forty functions, nearly all are read-only. Asking about stock, an order, or a report changes nothing.

Only three functions can change data: bulk location updates and creating or modifying print templates.

No change happens immediately

Instead of performing an operation, the assistant prepares a plan:

1. Draft — a plan is created with a preview: how many records, what will change, and the before and after values (up to 50 entries are shown).
2. Approval or rejection — a person decides.
3. Execution — only now is the data changed, in one atomic operation.
4. Undo — an executed plan can be rolled back.

You cannot skip steps: you cannot approve a plan that has already been executed, execute one that has not been approved, or undo one that has not been executed.

The plan preview is not passed through the language model — you see raw data, not a summary.

Only the person who started it can approve it

A plan can be approved only by the person who invoked it (or a superadministrator). You cannot prepare a plan and ask a colleague to click the button.

Abandoned plans expire

A draft left untouched for 24 hours is automatically cancelled. It will not remain “for later.”

Everything is recorded in the log

Every execution creates an entry in the assistant log: who did what and to which records. The log is append-only — entries cannot be edited or deleted, either from the interface or the administration panel.

Note: the log is visible to the entire company, not only to the person who created an entry. Anyone with access to the assistant can see operations performed by others.

What about the rest of the system?

Apart from those three functions, the assistant does not create orders, change statuses, generate labels, or modify warehouse stock. Use the regular screens for those tasks; they have safeguards designed for each operation.
