Enhanced picking view — what to pick from the next shelf

What you see

The enhanced view adds two things to the picking screen:

• On the way to a shelf. Under the “Current → Next” tiles is a “Pick up from <shelf>:” list with a photo, name, EAN, and quantity for every product on that shelf.
• At the shelf, when you need to pick something there. A line above the product list says “Next shelf <code> · N pcs.”

This is only a preview. You still need to scan the shelf and the products.

How to enable it

There are two switches; either one is enough.

1. For the whole company: Settings → Warehouse → Queues – general settings → Picking screen appearance card → Enhanced picking view (entire company). It takes effect immediately for all queues, including existing ones.
2. For a scenario: Settings → Warehouse → Automatic queue creation → edit the scenario → Enhanced picking view. A scenario with the switch on has a marker with the same name in the list. It applies only to queues created after the switch was enabled (as with “Multiple pickers (B2B)”).

When picking from several queues at once, the view is enabled if even one of them has the switch on.

Picking with a trolley

The view works the same way with a trolley. The “Pick up from <shelf>:” list shows only goods for orders that will fit on the trolley’s free shelves. If an order is already on a trolley shelf, an arrow and that shelf’s code appear by the product, for example “→ PW-3”. A new order gets a shelf only on its first scan, so the shelf is not shown before then.
